Introducing Dr. Jesse James Gonzalez, the newest addition to the True North Dentistry team in Prescott, AZ. Originally from the charming town of Harlingen, Texas, Dr. Gonzalez discovered his passion for dentistry at an early age-a passion that continues to guide his career.
Dr. Gonzalez earned his Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Science from Texas A&M University-Kingsville and went on to receive his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the prestigious University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio School of Dentistry.
With a patient-centered approach, Dr. Gonzalez believes in treating people, not just teeth. He is committed to providing comprehensive, high-quality dental care tailored to each patient’s unique needs, Dr. Gonzalez stays at the forefront of modern dentistry, averaging over 100 hours of continuing education annually, including training at the renowned Kois Center-a testament to his dedication to clinical excellence and lifelong learning.
Patients appreciate Dr. Gonzalez’s warm, approachable nature, which helps them feel at ease and confident in their care. Whether addressing routine dental needs or more complex procedures, Dr. Gonzalez delivers personalized treatment with compassion and precision in a welcoming environment.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Gonzalez leads an adventurous and active lifestyle alongside his wife. Shelby, and their two beloved Newfoundland dogs, Wesley and Nala. Whether hiking scenic trails, fly fishing in quiet rivers, skiing down snowy slopes, or training for triathlons, Dr. Gonzalez embraces every opportunity to enjoy the outdoors. Along with being an avid scuba diver. He is also working toward earning his skydiving license, adding another thrilling chapter to his love for exploration and adventure.
Dr. Gonzalez is thrilled to call Prescott his new home and looks forward to becoming an active member of the community. He is excited to serve the patients of True North Dentistry, helping them achieve healthy, confident smiles that last a lifetime.
